Our Story

Some time ago, I came across an article on the internet about three women in one family who suffered from kidney failure. Doctors who treated them were perplexed as to how this could have happened in one family.

Upon further investigation, they found that all three women were using a fairness cream recommended by their local beautician. The cream contained excess amounts of mercury and that was the cause of their kidney failure.

This got me thinking and I started exploring ways to learn about natural cosmetic ingredients and recipes that I could try at home,

To my pleasant surprise, I found the natural products I was making were more effective than the store-bought ones. Moreover, I also realised that regular store-bought products hardly have any natural ingredients in them.

I did find a few good natural brands too. But by now I was inspired to make the best products myself because I was convinced that the look, feel and efficacy I was looking for were hard to get. But I could make them myself and share them with others to try and see if it works for them.

That's how Vatsa Padam was born.
